Everyone gave their all to make the day a huge success.

Frika Transforms Carehaven

On Youth day 2007, a group of volunteers made up of FRIKA staff gave the creche at a shelter in Athlone a make-over.

This Corporate Social Investment opportunity gave the staff an opportunity to donate there time along with funds from FRIKA towards a good cause. The Shelter can house up to 60 people at a time and last year helped over 300 woman and children from abused homes.

Trees were planted and instant lawn lay to give the children a lovely playground. New appliances, furniture, carpets and toys were all donated by Frika and put in the newly refurbished crèche. Even though it was hard work everyone had a great time and we look forward to many more projects of this nature.
